DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY

The Department of Geography is one of the popular departments of the C.P.M. College. A large number of students seek admission for various courses (B.A. and M.A.). It attracts a large numbers of students from various parts of the state. The focal areas of research are Agriculture Geography, Regional Development, Resource Development, Population Geography, Urban Studies & Social Geography. Initiatives for development of facilities and courses in Remote Sensing and GIS are underway.
